Lead times

Allow 7 to 10 working days from a cleared payment.

Delivery cost

Flooring is heavy, so delivery is priced by weight, pallet count and postcode rather than a flat fee. The cost is shown before you pay. For large or awkward deliveries we quote it separately so there are no surprises.

What kerbside delivery means

Pallets arrive on a lorry with a tail lift and are left at the kerb or the first hard standing the driver can safely reach. Drivers do not carry material indoors, up stairs or through a house.

Arrange help to move it, and somewhere dry to keep it. Tell us in advance about narrow lanes, gated access, height limits or a long drive so we can send the right vehicle.

On delivery day

Someone over eighteen needs to be there to take the delivery and sign for it. Most carriers give a time window by text or email the day before.

If nobody is there, the pallet goes back to the depot and a second attempt is charged, so let us know early if the date no longer works.

Check before you sign

Look at the pallet before you sign. Count the boxes and look for crushed corners, torn shrink wrap and broken pieces.

Write any damage or shortage on the driver paperwork, then send us photos the same day. Signing a clean delivery note for a damaged pallet makes a claim much harder for both of us.

Damage and shortages

Report damage, shortages or the wrong item within two working days of delivery and before any material is laid. Keep everything in its original packaging until we have sorted it. We replace what is broken as fast as the stock allows.

Storing the material

Keep boxes flat, dry and indoors. Wood and laminate need time to settle in the room they are going in before they are laid. Your fitter will say how long, and laying it too early is one of the most common reasons a floor moves later.

Collection

You can collect from the warehouse during working hours if you have a suitable vehicle. We will confirm a slot so the order is picked and waiting when you arrive.

Deliveries outside our usual area

We ship outside our normal area by arrangement. Any duties, import taxes and customs charges are yours to pay, and they are not included in the price you see at checkout.
